It's been in my unticked section of Windows update for months, years maybe.

1) What does it do?

2) Do i want it?

3) Is it bloatware?

It just adds a search box to the desktop, Completely pointless imo. Its also Bing, does anyone actually use it?

You could try right clicking on it and selecting hide update ?

It unhides again later, happens monthly for me. I just hide it again and ignore it like the ginger child it is

1. no you need to hide it

2. then check for updates .... again

3. then it will show up again .. with an earlier version

4. go to step 1 until it shows up no more

I tried it a few months back. Terrible.
