Between 4 flats we have 4 black bins, 2 green and one brown. I know black is for household waste, green for recycle and brown for garden stuff.

We cut the lawn and hedge and filled the brown and one black and there still loads of grass to move. Will they take a black bin filled with garden waste?

Might do, we have two different recycling bins (glass and cans) and I ran out of space in our can bin and filled one of the glass bins with cans and they took it no worries.

Shouldnt the grass go in the recycle bin, not the black one? Our garden waste goes in the recycle bin.

If these bins are shared I wouldn't fill too much, take whats left to the tip.

Just go on the council website and order yourself one You entitled to a recycling bin each. Although it will take a week or two to arrive.

fill the garden waste bin and just keep the bags seperate, next to the bins. if it's a green bag they usually know whats going on and won't mind.
Recycling they'll usually pick up extra, it's household waste they won't.

Ask your Council if they provide a free Compost Bin. Fill it with the Garden cuttings and when its rotted down, dig it back into your garden.
