Just waiting for some xbox live points to arrive from a certain supermarket, then I'll be picking this up.
Theres a new trailer on gametrailers comparing the original to this to the new full game. The full game looks far far better than last time I saw it, actually could be good.
Guess I'll have to make a thread for this soon. Maybe closer to launch, I've got too many threads going just now.![]()

OK a few heads up for both owners with both a PS3 and a 360 and if you can get this game on the US PSN store and cant wait for the EU version.
The PS3 version has some challenge room things that the 360 version doesnt have, the sound is better and it has V-sync and has faster load times. Im guessing most of this is down to the XBLA size limits and to save space its compressing stuff on the 360 and not on the PS3. The 360 version has acheivements and the PS3 doesnt have trophies, but they are coming, the PS3 also uses remote play for the PSP. Another thing to note is that i understand that there will be some connectivity with the new BC game so you may also want to get this on the console you will be getting the new one on.
This is not from my own experience just what i have read and seen on various sites, so dont shoot me, its not to bash a version or console just to help people in their choice.![]()

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2008...eet-fighter-alpha-available-today-on-the-psn/Bionic Commando is a game that I want as many people to play as possible, so it was very important to get a PSN version out the door for all of the Sony fans out there. And although I think it’s important to deliver the same experience to everyone, that doesn’t mean you can’t add in a few little things here and there to keep it interesting. So, one of the surprises is that the PSN version of Bionic Commando has an exclusive challenge room that you can only play on the PSN version of the game. It may not be the biggest of surprises, but we have tried to give a little something to the PSN users that they can keep to themselves. And with how hard this challenge stage is, it will certainly make for bragging rights!
That's another thing I'm wondering about. The loading times on 360 are twice as long as the PS3 version for some reason. On 360, the demo level requires ~14 seconds to load while the PS3 demo requires ~7 seconds. The 360 also has a lengthy ~35 second startup load that isn't present at all on PS3.
360 is starting to show its limitations. They really should've just sold the damn thing with a built in hard drive.
You're basing this from an Xbox Live Arcade game?360 is starting to show its limitations. They really should've just sold the damn thing with a built in hard drive.
I'm not bashing it. You're just twisting my words.

Just because the game might be better on PS3 is nothing to do with the 360 limits [...] the XBLA size limitations are probably the main thing.
How big is the biggest memory card for the 360? Can it hold a game that is the 250mb XBLA limit? Or do you need the hard drive to get some of those games.
The arcade comes with a 256mb memory stick which is why the 250mb limit is enforced![]()
I thought that was the case, Makes sense. And it also explains what Robert was possibly talking about.
Limitation due to lack of a hard disk.
