Bios corrupting on startup ?

Gigabyte Z87
i7 4770K @ 3.5
GTX 780 X2
16G Ram

At random, press start button machine begins to boot but dies after 3-4 seconds, try again and its the same, on third try it starts but box tells me bios is corrupt and is being recovered.
This has happened 7-8 times in the last month, anyone got any ideas ?

what gigabyte board? and what bios latest final?

Unfortunatly its something that can happen a bit more than it should with Gigabyte boards :| have a look at the options for memory boot modes and/or try giving the IMC voltage a small increase.

might help to run latest bios on both the main/backup bios chips

The board is a Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H and now its not letting me into bios.

if you still struggling to get into the bios you could try the in windows tool to install the latest if Gigabyte has one or you could also try flashing it the old style via dos and see if that works

You need to try to flash to a newer or stable version of bios for your mobo or just email for a new board. Silly question what are your cpu temps like?

cpu temps fine, 44C max, ironically since posting this it has behaved but I realise that I may eventually have to man up and flash bios for the very first time.
Tried removing battery and could get into bios after.

flashing bios is simple and safe if you extract the bios to usb memory stick and update it through qflash

Most modern bios will allow you flash using an USB stick
