I am having problems with one of my machines, related to HDs, but I think it may be the motherboard.
If I put a disk on one SATA port (Primary Master) PowerMax gives an error Bios Extension Support - Failed (Although the quick test passes). However the same disk passes Bios Extension Support on a diferent port (Secondary Master)!
Any ideas? Is it the Motherboard (GigaByte GA-8I915P Duo Pro) on the way out or something else? Is there some BIOS setting I may need to change?
The reason I was running PowerMax was because I had tried upgrading the machine - doing a disk to disk copy which failed. So badly that it will not boot from any HD, neither can I install Windows to any new HD.
Ahhh! Just what I nee for my Media Center PC just before Xmas
