Bios failed to update in windows, help!!!

I went and ordered one of those flash drives, just a 2GB cheap thing. Before I throw out the last 3.5 drive I'll hopefully ever own, can I load RAID drivers during Windows setup from a flash drive, or does it need to be a floppy?

EZ Flash that's built into the CMOS is by far the best way of flashing a bios

Put bios on usb stick
load cmos
boot into ez flash
flash bios
done

Windows flashing is a little unstable for my tastes. I did it with my blackops though, but that's because it has dual bios, a feature that more boards should have imo.

I just had a check at what my new motherboard will do with BIOS.

It has the EZ Flash. So that's how I'll be updating BIOS.

It also has BIOS recovery, rather than dual BIOS. It's called "Crashfree BIOS 2" I guess you could argue each way which is better, but I prefer the BIOS recovery function it has.

Essentially if the BIOS fails a checksum, it'll then look to the DVD drive or the floppy drive and flash directly from there. The DVD that comes with the motherboard has a BIOS on it.
