bios help

Hi I,m in the process of overclocking ,and i,m new to it all , what i want to know is how can i find out in the bios if i,ve overclocked my CPU from 2.40 to 3ghz ? :confused:

The changes you make don't take effect until you save and exit bios.

Yeah i know that ,what i mean is when you go back into the bios can you see where the change is taken place ? :confused:

Yes, once the systems rebooted and you've gone back into bios it should display the oc'd speed as well as the stock speed. On mine is shows it under cpu configuration in the advanced settings but I guess your bios is different so its location will change
