bios loop

New build with M5A78L-M/USB3 motherboard and FX4100, My problem is that I only get to post to bios options screen,hit DEL,F8,F2 etc and then the screen goes black and then re-posts same bios options screen, Hitting the various options does nothing

Anyone have any ideas

coolermaster 650w
used onboard and hd5870
one 4gig stick of crucial ddr3 1333

Reset CMOS?

Took out motherboard and I had an extra mobo seating pin screwed in,once removed everything resumed to a normal status lol

So a shorting issue then, unless a connection wasn't fully seated.

Was defo a shorting issue as I reseated everything prior to removing the board and discovering the rogue pin.. It was a self learning lesson going thro all diagnostics procedures I could think off but a happy result in the end.
