BIOS NOT DETECTING M.2 drive

Maximus ranger board.
I5 4690k. Bios won't detect my m.2 just my sata ssd

Remove & Re-seat? Also, make sure the screw to hold it in place is reasonably tight

Some motherboards disable M.2 if some PCIe slots are used, does the manual explain?
Is it a compatible M.2 drive?

cant find where in my bios to enable the m2 setting. its a ranger vii

Check the manual but it is probably disabled when you use certain other slots.

First thing to check is that it's on the latest version.
