Yesterday my Nvidia 6600 AGP graphics card died, i plugged in a rubbish 32mb in AGP slot and it works fine. I have a Nvidia 256 PCI card which I want to install but if I plug it in, the computer just beeps, so i check the BIOS and changed it so PCI is 'default grpahics adapter' from 'AGP' but that did not solve the problem.
How can I enable my sytem to recognise PCI as default? basically the PC wont boot without an AGP card in, but I have a PCI.
