Bios ROM checksum error

It's working with ONE 1gb OCZ in atm.

BIOS flash? Read about it but have no idea how to do it..
 
Go to the asus site and look at the BIOS updates for your mobo and see what's included in them - if one is an upgraded memory voltage you're sorted.

If not, you need to change you memory for some 1.8v sticks.

But at least you know what the problem is now.

Well the PC is truly messsed.

I've tried to install graphics drivers but the comptuer just isnt recognising them. The comptuer doesn't even know i have an 8800gt inside it. Just "Plug and play"

Give it up - the OCZ wont work with your mobo.

You really are very limited in choices, i'm afarid.

yes you do

Is it doing this with the single stick in, also when you reset the bios what did you set it too, may have turned something off
 
Never mind i've sorted it, some of the settings in BIOS needed turning on :)

WHO ARE YOU THEN ? :D

So for the time being, i think im going to run on the 1gb OCZ untill a make a new build. Weird though, the Geil 2.1v have been running fine for about 2 years now.

I've been needing a new one for my media purposes but never justified it because the PC ran OK ish. Nows the time :p

Yeaaa thanks for the advice, i spent 2 months finding hardware to put together on that rig. Guess i missed ram voltage xD

I found with my OCZ ram it wants to be run at certain volts or plays silly buggers

Haha, no. Got the 2gb Giel's in :)

Friend think the mobo is messed up:

Graphics card came back from ocuk a month ago completely fine.
New RAM doesn't work with Mobo.
CPU temp and quality is perfect
I have been getting dodgy things like the above photo and bluescreens :/
