I recently updated my MSI x670e Tomahawk bios and it reset all the settings I had changed.

Just trying to recall some recommended changes I should do.

I know I changed the ram to expo, I did have my bios set to retrain the memory at each boot, which made the pc slower to boot to windows, forgot the setting now, but is that a good idea still?

Anything else also worth changing in the bios, I don't like to fiddle too much in there but any advice on settings welcome.

Thanks

You can export your BIOS settings to a flash drive and then reload them after an update.

I agree to do a CPU undervolt and to enable memory context, that should speed up your CPU and help improve your POST/boot times.

Ah yes I have memory context disabled currently just to make sure things were stable, need to enable that again for the fast boot time goodness.
