Hey guys,

before i start overclocking again (my Q9550 on an XFX 780i mobo)

i just wanted to check what should be on and turned off in bios to allow my cpu to be running effectivly.

i turned off the feature that caps my cpu speed when not being used fully (forgot the name of it), but what else should be turned off or on please?

thanks

ty, any more imput please anyone?

btw strawberry, what cooler do you have and whats yours temps on your Q9550 please?

I'm using a single watercooling loop for my graphics card and CPU on a single 120x120x60 radiator, with a single fan at 700 rpm, so my idle temps are pretty high thanks to the graphics card (40° idle, 55° load), and 38° idle, 49° load on my graphics card.

Running the same setup without the graphics card gives me 30° idle, 45° load.
Running the fan at max speed (instead of using the ultra low speed adapter) gives me 28° idle, 35° load.

The cooler itself is an EK Waterblocks LT Acetal Universal, and the rad is a Phobya G-Changer 1x120. The fan is a Noctua NF-S12B FLX.

I'm considering getting a 2x120 or 3x120 to replace it sometime.
