BIOS splash screen odd?

Hello, I bought this new PC (ASUS GM700TZ) and it works very well but I notice one thing which I just wanted some advice on please? Sometimes the splash screen when restarting or cold boot shows ASUS FOR THOSE WHO DARE and then goes to the image below of FOR THOSE and when just turning on PC by the time the monitor kicks in it is at FOR THOSE. Is this a problem? The PC works really well and there seems to be no issue in the BIOS and everything works fine. I just thought it was a bit odd? Some advice would be great as I’m a complete noob!

The first screen is the regular BIOS screen for the Asus motherboard, the second one is the early UEFI screen for Windows starting to boot up.

It is normal that sometimes you'll just see the windows screen, if the boot process is very fast, as you have described.

When I bought the new PC on the weekend I noticed when I tilt it far back or far forwards I hear something move. I have a glass panel on the side and looked through it and nothing visible is moving & everything is working when gaming with no sounds etc. Could it be as simple as something plugged in at the very bottom where I can’t see just moving at extreme angles? Any advice?

Hard to say, especially without hearing it, but most likely it is just a cable that hasn't been fully tied down. That could be located somewhere you can't see, like against the back panel or under the PSU cover.

I'd recommend you.. uhh, don't do that

A loose screw would be a different matter, if it sounds like a rattle/metallic, then I'd investigate.

Thank you so much for helping me. No - doesn’t sound like a rattle or metallic so I’ll leave it alone. I’ve got warranty and accidental damage so I’ll just get on and enjoy the PC. If I could hear it when on I would investigate further but I can’t. Cheers for helping me.

You're welcome. It sounds like everything is fine.

If you have a look here, I'm assuming that's a similar design to yours, in the picture about 1/3rd of the way down in the article you can see all the cables located/tied behind the back panel. That's my best guess for what you're hearing.

In some cases, I've seen a little box attached to the case, like spare PSU cables, drive rails, ties, screws, etc, but since this is a pre-built PC I would assume they do not expect you to open it.

Yes, that case is very similar so that’s good to know. I think I’ll have to learn all this stuff one day - it can be very hard being a noob as on Reddit I got responses saying build your own and the graphics card is rubbish. Cheers. I have learnt a bit about VRAM and ray tracing so slow and steady!
