Hey guys, ive got a Gigabyte GA-956P-DS3 rev1 with the latest F14 and has been running smoothly for over a year on this bios, and all of a sudden it wont apply the clocks i set, Yet when i go back into the bios they are set but not applied to the running side of things (if that makes sense) - Ive defaulted the settings rebooted and applied all my clocks again and still the same thing. Any other things i can try?

Go back to BIOS Setup screen and then reset all the setting by default then start again and once you done then exit + save that would be fine

I used my ASUS Crosshair IV and updated latest BIOS that some setting goes back to default so I changed it back where it was used last time then exit + save that work fine.

Right, i did that braveheart, and no difference apart from this, the default clock for the chip is 266, yet when ive set my clocks it goes to 267, despite it being set at 430 if that helps at all.

Try shutting down and taking out the cmos battery for 10 mins. Then put it back in turn the pc on and go into the bios and save it again. If after you restart the settings aren't saved then the battery probably needs replacing.

Try a different memory multiplier. With my Asus P5Q Pro, I noticed that whenever the memory settings is wrong, it reverts back to default settings.
