bios

how can i reset bios password when i have forgotten the password no battery on motherboard
help please roger

Depending on the motherboard, look for the jumper pins for the bios on the board, if you dont have a jumper cap, use a flat headed screw driver to short the pins, or a car key or something similar.

Which board is it ?

gigabyte f2a75m=d3h .... dont know about jumper pins?

The manual explains it all, and it does have a battery that you can remove to also clear the cmos, heres your board layout:

remove the power cable, press the power button a couple of times to drain the caps from the PSU, and then remove the battery for 5 mins, or short the 2 pins together highlighted in the picture with a key or flat head screw driver etc, something metal and conductive.

There is 4 revisions of that motherboard, ive checked all the images of all the revisions and the battery and clear cmos jumper pins are all in the same place on all 4 boards.

battery out allnight put in this morn cant get past the enter password screen...dont know what to do now ....anybody?

anyone know if theirs anything i can try?

Will it boot too windows ? is it just a bios password, ie a password stopping you from getting into the bios or is it a password stopping it from booting ?

The clear cmos and removal of the battery should have cleared any bios password.
