Bioshock 2 Gameplay vid!

Amazing! Even though Bioshock was overrated (silly reviews with 99% etc), it was a VERY polished game with great story line (yes ending sucked we all know that).

Wiki entry for it has been totally updated, sounds amazing. When i compare it to recent games like Fear & FO3 (Oblivion was miles better) i do miss the days of me playing Bio'.

I remember just buying the game and getting into it. Then i had to look after the dog at my parents house while they were on holiday.....i was soooo ****ed off it was like "stupid dog has denied me Bioshock....i should go home and leave you to starve"

Looks pretty cool (especially the underwater part), glad they didn't go down the prequel route at least but not sure how the Big Dadyy thing is going to work out.

Looks okay - more of the same really. The underwater part looked interesting at least, one of the features that had to be dropped from the original - hopefully there'll be more like that :)

So...who do you play as? Big daddy? Or what? =/....

I'll be getting it anyway.

Looks like you're playing the same character as last time and since

!Spoiler for Original Bioshock, Highlight below!

you became a Big Daddy at the end of the last game it looks like they are going to stick with that. Couldn't see the edges of the porthole window though.

The original ran on a heavily modded UT2.5 engine so they probably have taken some more of the UT3 features to make it look even better.

Now all I need is AC2 and ME2 :(

I remember I saw the Bioshock video a few years ago and I wasn't impressed. The graphics were good but not the amazing, the gameplay looked mediocre and there was no multiplayer!

After completing the game I felt it was easily one of the best I ever played up there with Deus Ex. Seeing this video I feel myself slipping back to my original evaluation of the game.

There is something about the game that doesn't translate to videos or demos well. It could be the games sense of claustrophobic scale, the rich story/setting, the games philosophical/political commentary, the perfect learning curve, the illusion of a complex ecology.

I'll withhold judgement on the game till I've finished it.
