This whole thing is really unnecessary and quite stupid. Surely this is only upsetting one person and that is us the customers.

I understand the need for security but this is OTT and clearly is not working.

I have had to email them has my code will just not work and I tried all the methods mentioned. Spent most of the day trying to register the game, instead I could have been playing it.

I really hope developers take note and look at better ways than this. :mad:

Also tried the phone number, it never seems to get answered I was waiting for ages.

I can prob guess what they will tell you once you get thru... "Oh the server is down, try again later"

But please let us know what they say!

i haven't got this game yet until tomorrow so haven't seen them it's just something i think should eb made as standard across the board, most of the time that i spend installing games is around midnight in the dark except for my monitor... nice and good for my eyes! :rolleyes:

I agree, its not obvious. It's not hard to just put a line through 0. I also think the activation process should be intelligent enough just to put the dashes in automatically. That's something I could easily program and i'm hardly a coder!! Seriously, it's just shoddy.
The game is a work of art but actually getting there is a real struggle..

Thier servers are down, their phones are down.... are they on the electric yet?
 
Right well i have just got through and the guy said it is a world wide problem and it could be fixed in a few hours or it could take a few days and if you send them a email that could take a few days too because everyone is doing that and i said this is a good service and hang up :mad:
 
what annoys me more is that they probebly havent had any problems in america with this sort of thing happening?

Here it has to be different though. How hard is it to just restart a server or plug the phone lead back into the computer???
 
weird how some get through and others cant liek me... and yet they say its world wide problem and need to fix it.

if needs to be fixed...how can some still get through to activate tho

Its called 'sods law' and bioshock is giving it me in bucket loads :mad:

I thought steam activates at 9pm doesn't it?

That unacceptable, you get a game on release and it could take a few days to get the servers fixed, or get this email back! Surely we can get some compensation for that, thats disgusting!

And I agree with the above, why can some people activate and others cant? This is getting weirder/worrying by the minute!
