Bioshock on your machines.

I mainly get around 60-70 fps with everything on full. It occasionaly drops to 40 but never below.

I have nearly the same spec pc as you except only the 320mb 8800gts.

No idea on FPS but it's perfectly smooth on the highest settings and that's all I care about.

E6600, X1950XTX, 2gb DDR2800.

I meant to say 45 is the lowest i get, maxes out at 75 i think ! im happy with that then, would another 2gb of ram make much of a difference ?

havent a clue what the fps were but it was pretty smooth even my secondary computer which is 7800gt/amd 3700+/1gig ram. 1024*768 high detail.
slowed down at parts(near to the end) when there was lots of action with multiple enemies. running on xp

Cool, i was just worried i might experiance chug later on in the game. So far im enjoying it thought, its giving me the creeps abit ! lol.

With everything on max (global lighting off) I can feel mine go below 30. I must be doing something wrong or people are miss-judging.

2.8 C2D
8800GTX
2gb

well I have a 7600gt, at 1680x on medium settings, and its ok. doesnt look fantastic, but running on high was far too slow.

vista that is, so iam sure if i was on xp i would be able to run it on high! heh.

im on xp @ 1680 x 1050 using fov

forcing vsync, 4x aa 16xaf

getting constant 60 fps in fraps, cant say ive noticed it drop from that tbh

x1960 xtx on a 1080p tv on highest res on full settings and run without a problem. i guess the better graphics or dx10 will make it look unreal but is fine and very playable how i have it now.

How does it run, what sorta fps you getting ? Im getting 45 fps with everything full blast, it that good or not ?

Not really sure on mine, I only had FPS showing for a few seconds when I was taking screenshots with Fraps. Seems to be 70-130+

Maxed out, 1280x1024

Runs fine on max on my setup again only play at 1280 x1024 though

AMD 3800+ single core
2 gig ram
x1950 pro 256meg
Vista premium 64bit

Just don't do what I did!

I was wondering why the game was lagging when the action got thick (In retrospect it should have been blatently obvious).

I loaded up FRAPS to check it out, and bang, there it was, the fps sticking at 60 and 30.

So Vsysc was enabled! Don't know how the hell that happened, but I actually played about a third of the game without realizing, and tolarating the lag too :p I mean you go out and buy a £350 graphics card, and a great game comes along that shows it off, and muggins here has Vsync turned on! :D

Anyhows, now enjoying DX10 goodness at blazing fps :)

AA would be nice. It seems to be working on a few edges, but for the most part it's not. And they told us Unreal Engine 3 only supported AA in DX10. Looks like it only works in DX9 to me
