Bioshock

Hi

I was wondering if anyone has tried playing bioshock on an intel i7 using vista 64

I cant get it to run were on a previous amd system we dual core and vista 32 it ran no problem, i have it on steam as bought it when they had a sale on, and when i have asked steam tech support had no luck

The problem is on the splash screen it just shows the vista circle icon going round and never gets any further

I also have same problems we codemasters games Dirt & Grid, they just get app hangs

Any ideas or anyone who had similar issues and rectified them will be helpfull

Do you use a tablet by any chance? A lot of the time I have to disable tablet services in order to get my games to run. Something to do with Dx10 conflicts apparently.

which graphics drivers are you using?
updated your DX ver?

Am using ati 9.3 had same problem we 9.2 and on crossfire we 4850s, even tried disabling crossfire

I had the Demo running fine if it's any help.
