Simple question? If you are an owner of a SAGATE HDD with the firmware of SD15 then, this would be the reason why the HDD has failed to load becausee this was reported by SEGATE a couple of months ago. I had to send all my three hard drives back to Segate and then replaced them free of charge.

Go here to RMA you HDD back to SEGATE (only if your firmware is SD15) https://store.seagate.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/SgCheckWarrantyView?langId=-1&krypto=lZV0ifY90uy6PUbeNYxmlJ%2FeOamQTU8vX%2FyVcskL7Ra8YMmV34QjfaXbpO6NlvwR%2BTEC3tVdnhJ0%0AtmaQWKyGUNscSUkjrgNNSrX6sZWZFxPTN7qiNOvGlw%3D%3D&ddkey=SgSSORedirect

1. What cables are you using for the HDD...?
2. Have you tried using the SATA cables that came with the motherboard (only if you are using third party cables)
3. Have you tried plugging into a different SATA port?
4. have you tried another HDD
5. Boot priority is this set correctly?

im using a samsung using sata cables that came with mobo and they are in the first sata port
im not sure what to put 4 sata#1 its either ide, raid or ahci

Put this in the second port and then startup the system and go into the BIOS and see if the HDD is showing. Also check the boot priority because if this is not set then it will not boot unless you are using the Windows CD...?
