Bioware - You've been chosen

What was the last franchise EA didn't ruin after acquisition?

Mass Effect? Dragon Age? Command and Conquer?

EA don't ruin anything per-say, they just occasionally release a stinker, same as every other company does. Last one that comes to mind was SimCity. They've also created loads of excellent IPs, like Dead Space. I still hold them personally responsible for messing up Warhammer Online though :p

Not at all, from EA I've mostly played SSX, Skate, Fifa, Mirror's Edge, Mass Effect and they've all been great. Only game that's really disappointed me is Dragon Age 2 and I got that fairly cheap a while later.

They release a ridiculous amount of great games over the years. They're just the cool thing to hate at the moment (like Ubisoft) people love jumping on a bandwagon.

Mass Effect 1 wasn't EA was it? That was Microsoft/BioWare wasn't it?

I honestly can't remember the last EA game I played that wasn't ****. So by law of averages they're due for a half decent one.

BioWare did make some great games, then they got absorbed by EA and released SWTOR...

But I'll forgive them if they make a 3rd KoTOR game and it's actually at the same level as KoTOR 1 and Mass Effect 1.
Until then, I don't trust anything BioWare puts out now.
