The person who told me to come to the OcUK forums (after I'd shopped at the actual shop quite a few times, it being the closest computer store to my house and all) was tutored for a while by Mr. Somerset - who is by all accounts a maths whiz - and thus Mr. Somerset was also invited to these forums.
