Birthday Time - Best Gfx Card around?

Hi Guys,

Its coming up to my birthday now (16th May if anyone want to buy me presents ) so id like to get a good gfx card, ive got a X1950 pro at the min but want something with a bit more umph in it.

I mainly play Flight Simulator x, Crysis, CoD4, BF2 etc etc.

Whats the best card around at the minute then? Still the X2 or? Id heard that there were problems with games not using both cores tho, has that been solved yet?

Between the 3870 X2 and the 8800 range whats going to be the best option?

Could probably stretch to about £300 at a push
