Bit lost (spec please)

Hello.

After a long time i'm planning on upgrading my computer. But i'm a bit lost tbh. Was seriously into computer hardware a few years back but have just lost touch with what's going on now. My current build is -

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9
CPU - Skt 939 AMD 64 3500+ 2.2ghz
Memory - 2gb Geil 3200 DDR400
GPU - Ati Radeon X1900 Series 512mb (PCI-E)
PSU -Akasa 400w

I've got 2 IDE HDDs and 1 SATA HDD. 1 DVD drive and 1 DVDRW drive.

So yeah, pretty outdated. My monitor is a Dell 2407 1920x1200, so won't be needing a monitor. Keyboard and mouse are fine aswel. I've got a Coolermaster Praetorian case which is still alright.

I was thinking about buying this bundle http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-007-OB But then i sort of got lossed on graphics cards. And i guess i would need a new PSU aswel.

Like i said i'd like to get back into PC gaming, and will probably be getting the new CoD game on PC. I watch a lot of movies on the computer aswel, so something that could handle 1080p MKVs and the like would be nice.

Budget is around £400-£500

So yeah, any help is greatly appreciated. Hope to have something ordered today :D
 
Chuck an ATI 4870 1GB (£110) and a OCZ ModXStream Pro 700w (£70) with that bundle. Job done.

Plus a decent SATAII drive, maybe a WD 1TB.

Good job you spotted that. Well, really my current Windows disk (80gb IDE) could do with a renewal, must have had it now for 4 or 5 years. And my 2nd disk (120gb IDE) is the same, had it ages. Wouldn't be a problem transferring important bits from that one to the 3rd drive (320gb SATA). Then i could keep my 2 DVD drives on the single IDE channel and just buy a new SATA disk for Windows.
