Bit O' Overclocking help on the 8350 if you would be so kind.

Well heeeelllloooo.

Im just trying to get a decent overclock on my 8350.

The Specs...

8350
Asrock 990fx extreme4 (latest bios i believe)
8GB corsair XMS3 (1600MHz)
XFX 650W core edition

This is how its looking so far...

Now in the bios, the voltage is set to 1.5v, which i thought was quite high for 4.6GHz.

Also the NB was set to 2500, but i decreased it to 2300. Now the RAM defaults to 460... Which is a bit of a crapper.

This is the only bootable, and prime 95 successful set up so far. I think so far the RAM is the problem, i should definitely be getting atleast 4.8GHz.

What should the ram speed be set in the BIOS? should i realease the timings (9-9-9-24 atm).

If you have any experience with 8350s then if you wouldn't mind sharing your views/voltages, it would be a big help. :)

Not much tweaking, just raising the multi and ram speed. Ram Timings still 9-9-9-24.

Doesn't seem too bad so far...

Gets to about 45-50c after a fair bit of gaming.
