I have been asked to move a clients site onto wordpress so that they can edit it as needs be.
The issue that I have is that most of their content pages are full of little elements that are custom to each page and there are a number of areas that they could possibly need to edit on any given page.
Now I have got over the issue of wordpress mucking around with the html views code when you preview but its unrealistic to hope for a client to be able to edit content when the whole of the page is in the editor. They will ruin the layout guaranteed.
So now to the question.
How to I have multiple editable areas on each static page in wordpress. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be amazing. There is so much wordpress stuff out there that I get 100 useless sites for every one that holds any relevance.
