None of us know the circumstances so we shouldn't comment. I think it was probably a case of English fans being provoked but we shall wait and see.

The news have been saying that the Germans are as much at fault as us - too much alcohol and too many people together.

When they said English fans were throwing chairs, I expected smashed windows. Looked to me as though they were throwing them in a pile in front of, as opposed at, the German fans. Still, lots of English thuggery to be found.
