Bit of plastic? In gpu block

Never seen that before mate maybe something out of a rad or something from manufacturing it if its new
Yeah it's my new block
So ******* fed up with all this
Going to use it anyway see if gpu still works
Can't take going through returning it and waiting for another
Will end up throwing the thing at the wall soon

Although it is not desirable it will have done nothing to impede liquid flow or efficiency of cooling. It certainly would not have damaged anything if it is lodged there. Just remove it and carry on.
Anything solid going round the loop tends to get caught exactly there in my experience.

Can't remove it without taking the block apart
And this his been a fiasco of errors that's been going on since the 3rd
In no mood to disassemble the block

Have you attached the block yet mate or are you waiting for a bit
Just booted pc up
It's not dead at least thank ****
But windows updated and did that weird no desktop icons and no programs will open crap on me again before could test the gpu
So coffee and smoke break then will load a backup image and fingers crossed

Yeah was just going to kick the daylight out of it then remembered hadn't put the
Ram back in doh
Just worried about temps though can't check yet
For some reason the 4 spring loaded screws around the die wouldn't go on
So had to do a bodgeit and scarper
On it

Your not having much luck mate hopefully be worth it in the end

Think finally nailed it. :)
Figured out what kept causing desktop icons to disappear and nothing would open
Whatever Windows updated in the background took exception to me having
Both hdmi and display port cables
Connected at the same time
Very peculiar
Managed quick benchmark though clean installed windows before Figured out the
2 cable glitch
So only installed the basics but gpu benchmark seems ok
And 43c max gpu temp
Fingers crossed but might finally be an end to the saga. :D:D:D:D

I've been following your various threads on this, and it's like some sort of forum based technology epic.

Mcnumpty2323's Inferno.
Lol yeah it's been a rough ride to put it mildly
Will install all the drivers tomorrow and give it a proper test
But may have finally got there in the end

Lol she'll be banning you from pc upgrades if your not careful :D
Lol
Banning myself now
First time have ever bought more than midrange gpu it was a covid19 isolation
Induced moment of madness lol
That turned into bit of a nightmare
But my current setup will be good for a pretty long time now thankfully
