Bit of random advice needed - metal staircase.

Throw petrol over it, it'll stop ice from forming. It'll make it slippery though so that sucks. You could set it alight before you walk up the steps, that'll burn off the slippery residue. Sorted.

Then you have to get past the firey steps of doom to get in your door. Now that's something you should film.
