Basically, i'm looking to reformat.

At the moment, all my stuff is on one 320gb hdd, but i want to install windows on a seperate hdd and have the 320gb hdd for all my documents/music etc. I dont have an external hdd and i need to backup about 90gb of stuff.

Can anyone tell me the fastest way of doing this with only those 2 hdd's.

Thanks

Oh and i think this is the right section, move if not. :)

EDIT: Okay new problem, when I'm formatting, after it finishes copying the installation files it has to reboot. But ater it reboots it says that there was an error loading the operating system. This is really annoying and fustrating, can anyone help?

Thanks :)

So what does the other HDD have on it? Back up everything to the 320GB. Format the other HDD and reinstall Windows on it?

The other hdd is empty lol, brand new. So shall i just install windows on the empty hdd, copy files from the 320gb and format that one then?

Yes

To your new edit (you need to set you boot to hard drive) in bios.
