The saga of my free Focus begins. A 1999 1.6 Zetec 5-door hatch, in Pepper Red. Overall in pretty good shape, once I'd cleaned the 5 years of dropped sweeties from under and on the seats. And fitted a new bumper and wing. But it was free 
Engine starts beautifully, pulls away like a train. Until it warms up that is. Then it refuses to rev smoothly under load, stuttering a bit like it's missing a cylinder. Had a new coil pack couple of months back, and the fuel filter's just been changed. Does need a good service I'll admit, but I'd like to get rid of this niggle first, make sure it's worth spending the money on... Plugs have been out, gap checked, all OK there.
