BitFenix Pimps Your Rig!

100_1521.jpg

i really need some better cables for my outlaw :p

The newest CPU I had mine on was a Q6600, although it didn't really cope too well with that, typically running above freezing, which wasn't doing it any favours.

Before that I had an E2140 Pentium Dual-Core (C2D based thing) running at 3.4GHz (up from 1.6GHz stock :p) running well below freezing, even at load.

i was gonna build my i7 rig under the vapo but meh.. its so outdated now :(

I'm currently in the process of Bitfenixafying mine at the moment.
got myself 200mm Spectre, PCIe 6 + 8 pin and molex to 4 SATA Alchemy cables. Once those 120mm spectre pro's are here I'll be nabbing a couple for sure. Here's my work from last week :)

What is the point of people entering if they already have bitfenix alchemy cables or other high quality cables

They won't be of any benefit, unless you want spare or to sell them to make some money

Or are using a photo of their current rig in order to win cables for a new build?

I know that's the only reason for my photo, I want to build a new watercooled x79/2011 rig into the Shinobi XL, and I always make my builds tidy, so it's either try and win some cables or buy some cables/braid my own. However I'm not particularly fussed about winning as BitFenix have already done enough for me in the last 7 days!

Edit your post and paste this in [ img]http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7228/6855379170_b4985782d7_b.jpg[/ img]

But remove the spaces in the [img] tags, to make them [img] and [/img]

Thanks! I don't know what I was doing wrong - I must have tried 8 times. Internetpoints to you :)

Worth ago, It's not as bad as one of these and not as good as the others so I'm not expecting many likes haha.

I do intend to purchase some cables at some point but it would be nice to win some as I have no job to fund the PC anymore haha.

Firstly just to clarify there is only one particular case I am looking at ¬_¬ :p Everyone else appears to not have proper cool braided cables or wants to try out a new brand for a good reason.

@Nexus18: Maybe to win some cables they dont have yet... I think it is okay.

Going by his post and pic, it looks like he has already got all the cables he needs :p

Could be, but re-reading the post again, it doesn't sound like they will be for another rig.

I am not bothered either as;

1. None of my friends have facebook, so I will be lucky to even receive 1 vote :( :o :p
2. Some super awesome looking rig will win
3. FARGO's case is a strong contender for "category 2"! :D

I would just like to see someone who hasn't got any braided cables/a messy interior etc. to win than someone who already owns these very cables and has a very tidy nice looking build, after all the competition is called "BitFenix Pimps Your Rig"

2 categories?
1 entry per user I understand, can we submit 1 entry per category?
Or would I be allowed to change my original picture from cat 1 to a cat 2 pic?
I have pictures of my "other" pc which is somewhat more birds-nest like. :P.

Like a couple of others on here,i'm also bitfenixifying my case, still short a good few cables tho :P
Cant seem to get very good results with me camera as well :S either the flash washes out all the nice blue lights or no flash, the blue lights overpower it

as you can hopefully see, I need some nice new cables as my corsair's are too thick and chunky. Those blue alchemy cables look mint. It's probably not as clear in the dark as the excessive uv blue overpowers it, but it looks a lot better than in daylight :D Thanks.
