Got this case while on offer from OC to build a PC for my 9 year girl. She needs it to do school work and to play the Sims plus normal duty.

Got around £300-400, got screen, KB and mouse so just component.

No OS is needed and have got a wireless card all ready.

Yep, kaveri is almost able to do very graphics-intensive gaming at 1080p, it will handle the Sims fine.

I would then definitely recommend the SSD over the HDD... If you don't already have one and therefore no the difference in speed... I would say for boot times and what not the SSD will make the biggest difference to the machine

APU for sure. Worth bearing in mind though that a full install of Sims 3 + Expansions runs near the 80GB mark if you go with an SSD.
