Hi guys,

I'm currently in the process of building a bitfenix prodigy custom PC with a haswell CPU, it has come to my attention that the haswell CPUs are better with approved compatible PSUs.

Ok anyway as the haswell compatible PSUs are few and far between right now I'm wondering whether or not to go modular or semi modular.

Is it worth splashing the extra cash on a modular or is it not going to make a difference cable wise in a bitfenix case?

Of course I am trying to achieve a neat clean look so do be honest if a non modular will look a mess...

Many Thanks :)

When working with a small case, such as the Prodigy, a modular PSU is worth the extra.

If you have an old PSU and are not sure it it will work with Haswell processors then you can disable the extreme lower state in the BIOS which some PSUs are not comparable with. (Google should tell you how)
