Hey guys,

BitFenix is interested in your opinion about our new Spectre Pro Fans! Do you want to have the chance to test them and compare their performance with your current ones?

Let me know how many fans of what size you are using in your current setup and in what LED color (or black) you would want the Spectre Pro Fans to be.

I will pick 3 lucky winners in 24 hours and they will get the fans they need in order to check them out and their performance.

I have a colossus so I am using 1 230 stock black blue led in the front and 4 140's (2 in roof, aerocool sharks blue led, 1 in back spectre white, 1 in bottom spectre white) and would love to test out the spectre pros with blue leds.
Have to say the 140mm original spectres are completly silent only a pity I got ones that make a whining noise when on 12v (I believe this was fixed with later batches)

Edit:

4 (QTY) - 140mm Blue led
1 (QTY) - 230mm Blue led

I am using 4 120 mm Fans (bitfenix spectre).
Also 1x 230mm (bitfenix spectre) fan as intake fan.

The 120mm fans will be use on my Radiator.

I'd love to test Pro version of Bitfenix fans.

I was planning on buying either the 200mm or 230mm to replace the megaflow on the side of my 500r. Would be happy to test either or out for you complete with review, can compare with the stock corsair and megaflow fans on how well they keep my 6950's cool!

Currently have two 140mm non pro spectres up top exhausting, could also do a comparison with these on the 140mm side of things.

As for 120mm currently have two ap121 fans intaking at the front as well as two vipers on my h80 that I would be happy to compare and review with :)

Edit: white led all round please :D

1x 230mm white led
2x 140mm white led
4x 120mm white led

Have preference towards the 230mm however.

I am running 3 x 120 Sharkoon Eagles in the top of my Corsair 800D and two Akasa 140 illumination fans one on the rear vent and one in the base. I have a second 140 Corsair fan in the base and a 140 Sharkoon blowing over my HD's.

Just finished my first build (link in sig with pics of the fans) and I am messing about with temps and trying to get them lower as we speak http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18360757

3 x 120 Black
2 x 140 White LED
2 x 140 Black

Thanks for the chance btw

Strange youtube video.

What does "dual frame construction" mean? It looks like two pieces of plastic sheet bolted together in a lot of places, which on the face of it doesn't seem as good as a one piece casting.

"Reinforced fan blades" ... what for? Computer fans don't suffer impacts. Possibly an acoustic thing, reducing blade vibration by stiffening the blades. The caption says it's to stop the blades warping at higher rpm, I'm not convinced this is a problem with computer fans.

"Silent operation" is a blatant lie. It's moving air, it's going to make a noise.

And as a final point, I think the arrows are pointing in the wrong direction here. Granted it's possible you've chosen to invert the blade shape relative to other fan manufacturers, but it seems more likely that you've drawn the picture wrong.

I think I'll pass on the user review based on the above first impression, but it's good of you to post a few out to the community.

@all: to be more clear please add an overview at the end of what you would need for your comparisson:

Edited my first post with this information.

Currently using 2 x Bitfenix Spectre Black on the top of my Bitfenix Shinobi case, sound is fine although it is a shame they have no L.E.Ds and only 2 fans in a case seems a little low.

I would love to test, thanks.

4 x 120mm Blue LED
2 x 140mm Blue LED

Cool! Love bitfenix fans, have got a spectre 230 currently so would love to see the difference between it and the new one, just looked up the specs and the spectre pro's are supposed to be higher CFM and lower noise than all my current fans

3 x 120mm RED or Black
1 x 140mm RED or Black
1 x 230mm RED or black

the 230mm is red LED so either red LED would be preferable but I can take black if you don't have red for whatever reason

Would love some to go along with the Raider, see how the 200mm ones cool vs. the standard 120mm and what difference having a top exhaust makes.

2 x (QTY) - 120mm White LED
2 x (QTY) - 200mm White LED

Would love to test a blue LED 200mm. I currently have 2 x 200mm fans in my Corsair 650D (a blue LED Coolermaster Megaflow in the front and the stock 200mm Corsair in the roof). Also a 120mm rear exhaust (Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850rpm). All are run off an Antec fan controller.

I planned to replace the Coolermaster with a Spectre Pro Blue LED and replace the Corsair 200m roof fan with a plain black or blue LED Spectre Pro.

Main interest ios the front intake as they they push a lot more air than my current fans with decent noise levels (although noise isn't as important as performance for me providing its not intrusively loud).

So I'd definitely love to test a blue 200mm LED as my main intake at least please :)

Meeee.... I have some of the normal Spectres on my rad (great fans) But would love some for case fans, that way I can do a like cross analysis of both of them :p

2x 140mm RED Colour would do me ;)

Hi

Currently I have 3 x Yate Loon 140mm and 3 x Yate loon 120mm all housed in a Dragonlord k62. So therefore I would like

3 x 120mm White
3 x 140mm White

I would love a chance to test your fan's and post a mini review with pictures.

John

Currently running 3 original Zalman 120mm fans in my Z9+ case, with two Gelid Silent 12 fans in push/pull on my Thermaltake Frio heatsink (replaced the loud stock fans).

Without sounding greedy I would be interested in trying two 120mm fans for my heatsink, although I would obviously be happy to replace all my fans for comparison (five 120mm fans in total).

If chosen I would like to try the white LED 120mm fans.

Edit for clarity:

2 x 120mm white LED fans for my heatsink

OR

5 x 120mm white LED fans for my heatsink AND case.
