Biting people while drunk....

Ive never bitten a total random, nor do I do it very often.

It's usually close friends that are kinda used to it, as said it had been a few years since it has happened.

It is a way of showing affection I suppose, but it's a little odd!

I have in recent years learned to control my drinking, but in my younger years it was more of an issue.

Was just interested to see if anyone else had experienced it, or knew any reason for it, as it is quite a strange thing to do... altho people do do strange things when alcohol is involved.

Understanding till one of your close friends or a doorman smashs your face. ;)

Can we have a pic to put a face to the nutter? OP might be wearing a baseball cap sideways and tongue slightly hanging out to the side of his mouth?

I have a similar, er, category of problem. That is to say for me, any level of drinking that I remember the next day, which includes being pretty mullared tbh, then my behaviour is just 'normal' drunkenness. But if I reach memory-off level it's like a sudden trigger that simultaneously switches off the memory recording and activates unbelievable-retard mode. Fortunately retard mode for me never involves essentially assaulting people, just completely random and bizzare dancing (I mean proper wtf is he on dancing), conversation or general behaviour (I am a rock - I cannot be moved - mooooove me. Someone pushes me. I fall over. Repeat, for example). As inexplicably different from my normal behaviour as, say, a dream. Well OK maybe not that weird.

Only solution I've found is to not activate the switch! Being 32 and married that's much easier than it used to be :). I think you need to adopt a similar strategy, cos it may get you a thump at least. Lay off the shots a bit - I dont think I could ever drink enough beer in a night to activate the switch.

One of my mates has always done this and it's highly annoying.

One of mine does and he can be quite persistent with it as well. Kept trying to bite me one night when I was one of two designated drivers, it's not so fun when you're perfectly sober. Took me threatening to smack him in the mouth to stop. People who drink that much and get so out of control are a right PITA especially when the lose ability to understand the word stop.

Wow you are a strange one. You didnt try to bite me in plymouth the other week did ya? was at the bar and turned to the left and some fruit was trying to nibble my t shirt

I'd most likely hit you out of reaction, as I imagine a lot of people would. Or certainly start on you.

Mega weird though.

I've never bitten anyone to my knowledge while drunk or sober. However I knew a girl who used to bite people every so often, particularly when she'd had a few drinks, I'd always assumed it was an oddity peculiar to her as she was a little bit strange.

Right, this is pretty random, but I just wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

I bite people, when very drunk.

Usually always good friends, male or female, but very rarely girls I have just met.

Usually strong enough to leave teeth marks but not to draw blood.

This used to happen quite often a few years back, it went away for a while, but came back the other day when a girl I had just met/was snogging, turned away, at which point I decided to bite her arm (I cant remember this, got told the next day) she responded by throwing her drink in my lap and biting me back.

Now I know the solution here is probably just to not get so drunk I cant remember (this was a rather vicious work night drinking session that ended with me trying to walk the 8 miles home at 3:30am) but was just wondering if anyone ever does this/has this done to them?

Many thanks.

Serious problem you got hear mate, calm down or seek help.

I wouldn't say its a SERIOUS problem, as it only ever happens if I'm totally off my face, which now I've grown up a lot, is very few and far between, if it all.
