Bitlocker encryption and pc gaming

Quick question, I'm building a pc for a friend using some old parts to be used mainly as an office machine but some occasional gaming.

Just need to buy an SSD for it but he needs to encrypt his data for work and currently uses Bitlocker (and doesn't want to change). Would Bitlocker have much impact on gaming performance?

It's going to be an i5-2500k, 8GB RAM, GTX 670 and either one 480GB SSD or if it makes a difference I could put 2 x 240GB SSD's in and have one kept without encryption for game installs.

I've never used Bitlocker so no idea what its like performance wise but I'm sure someone on here will be running it.

Thanks

The SSD in my laptop is Bitlockered. It makes a slight difference to the read/write in benchmarks but it isn't noticeable in general usage/gaming.
