• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

Bitterly disappointed.

You'll have to make a thread Greg so we can chart your progress. I shall be on hand with my iPhone from work to assist where needed.

It is true what they said - no going back once you've turned. I had to play GW2 in single 1080p mode due to a game bug and the two peripheral monitors seemed gigantic when they were turned off like masses of black and a teeny weeny monitor sandwiched between them. Obviously it was my mind playing tricks but the lack of space was claustrophobic.

If you focus your eyes on the middle screen and let everything else settle into the appropriate place of your eyes it works really well.

Where it doesn't work well is where you look directly at the side screens as this would be similar to looking directly out of the corner of your eye without the whole picture shifting across at the same time. Fish eye effect basically.

It's still notabe to me now but I see it more as a quirk of Surround rather than something which is broken.

Will do Rusty. I am treading new water now as I have never run SLI and never had a fiddle with it or multi-monitors. I have paid a fair bit of attention in your thread, so hopefully this will hold me in good stead.

Thanks bud :)

Ohh and Tommy...Susan Boyle? Great sense of humour but the serious question is: Would ya?

Cool :).

I remember you making a thread a while back asking "do you overclock and and do you feel the need to?".

When running 3 monitors? YES! :D

As has been discussed endlessly you'll be hugely GPU limited at stock and still so even if you go 24/7 at around 1250 but the level of overclock you get can make a large difference.

I can see where you are coming from now. I still don't bother half the time and even when I do, I don't feel I need to but seeing your scores for BF3, I feel I will have to.

Will run some benchmarks for you later as there aren't any on the latest beta's.

With and withover overclocks.

Will do stock boosts, overclocked to 1150 and then I'll repost my 1260 ones, followed by a suicide 1300 run :D.

Will be interesting to see how your lightning fares on the stock bios vs the ln2 bios. My o/cing is much better on the ln2. I'm guessing because it disable the active phase switching and all that rubbish.

Must be a lot of this ATM, I've had the same twice recently, and one of the items was showing 10+ in stock, they didn't exist apparently??

Me too. Been considering switching to another shop tbh. If something is in stock, then it's in stock. I do not appreciate money being taken from my credit card and then being told I can't have my things.
