Bittorrent

Hi,

I'm new to using bittorrent and so far I've managed to download a film which is saved as a .mov file but I'm having problems actually viewing the film. I've tried opening it with a number of applications but none of them want to play the file.....can anyone help?!?!?! :confused:

Install Quicktime Alternative. Play in WMP.
Don't install Quicktime (official app)

i think .mov is quicktime, so you'll need quicktime player to view it, as i dont think VLC supports quicktime. correct me if im wrong though!

Yeah, don't install the official Quicktime, it's totally unnecessary.

Having said that, i've not needed a Quicktime codec for some months now - has everyone stopped using them?

Something like K-Lite will handle everything for you

Another one for this list - I've never had any troubles with the Coke2K media codec packs: HERE. They do DVD rip packs (DVD Decrypter etc) and CD rip packs too.
