I know that I personally didnt like any of their games, but the point is that another games company from the UK is gone.

We still got rockstar

and tbh don't really care where a company is based so long as it produces good work, many of the larger ones have offices all over the place.

Activision and new IP doesn’t compute. Unless you produce a 10 million dollar or more COD clone or something Activision will just throw you to the wolves.

Bizarre Creations tried a new IP and it failed, Activision put them to work on a mediocre Bond tie in and that failed and in true Activision style closed them down. Actually how did they end up making a bond game? That I don't know, it wasn't actually a 'bad' game..!!

It’s a big risk to go with Activision nowadays. Its all business, Bizarre Creations had talent for sure. Project Gotham Racing was always their core attraction which as said was a franchise they profited from for many years. They got bored withthis and wanted to move on, tried something new – sadly under the guidance of maybe the most cut throat and profit hungry publisher the games industry has ever known..

Huge mistake, I am honestly surprised someone like Sony or even Take 2 didn’t have an interest in taking them on… Sad but they paid the price I’m afraid.

Sad day, loved the PGR series, for me that was the perfect arcade racer which was still challenging and competative.

msr/pgr games were amazing, bond was pretty good , blur was horrible.
they made a big mistake going to activison and paid the price.

They did the original F1 game on the ps1.

Fantastic game when it came out, payed the full 50 for it... what it gave back was the first glitzy tv styled formula 1 game that dressed and sold itself as the real deal.

F1 97 was even better, virtualy everything that lacked in the original was put in the game, graphical overhaul included.

Wish all the best for the future for anybody involved with those early f1 games... i had good times
