At first I blamed chrome. I tried Argos.co.uk and could not click on ANY link on the page, nothing would happen. Firefox worked. I also have issues with Amazon when the page flat our doesn't load, just white. I have to refresh a few times.
But here is what I can show you. I tried IMDB and if I click to this page, and click ANY actor, 3 different things happens based on which browser I try.
In Chrome, it seems determined to download a file of some kind rather than take me to the damn page. Happens every time. However, pasting the link in the address bar will show the page, after a long delay however, longer than a page should take to load.
In Firefox it will again try to download a file rather than showing the page. But once again, pasting it will fix it and will load the page much faster than Chrome.
In IE I get this entire garbled page. Again pasting the link fixes this.
It is bizarre and I can't think what it was. I thought it was an addon, but IE does it and I ran Firefox in safe mode and it still does it.
I also as mentioned at the start, get random website failures. Like Argos and Amazon playing up.
