Black and white - Photography Thread

I am guessing that with a few of the photo's here it's not just a case of going into photoshop and desaturating the image?

How much photoshopping do you guys normally do on photo's?

Personally, as I am just starting out I hardly do any.

Sometimes Layers , it depends on the image . Like with that tree shot if you just desaturate it , it goes gray
