The black badges definitely suit the look, I reckon it depends on the colour of the car your putting black badges on, then you can tell if it's chavvy or not

It looks fine.
It doesn't look terribly out of place at all imo considering the wang and diffuser are black also.
If it were black badging on a prius or something it would look much worse but as the car is pretty ASBO as it is it doesn't look weird.

It's like stepping into another dimension I cannot hope to understand.

Nearly sold my house, then realised I could replace the chrome front door handle with a white one. Sealed the deal for me, this is now my forever home.

To make them work less I guess

You can fail an MOT with them. If the tester decides it's not emitting enough light anymore.
