Black books

well on the DVD's there where some extended episodes, and they had no laugh tracks for every scene.

you can tell the scenes with an audience as they wait for the laughter to die down a bit before saying the next line, in the tracked ones they just carry on regardless.

Sometimes they have to do several takes of a scene for whatever reason, and by the last take the joke in it has worn off, so even though it may have been in front of a live audience, the final cut we see on telly might just have the recorded laughter from an earlier take, which is why it doesn't completely sound 'right' to us.

OT: Aod, just out of curiosity, is there a particular reason you have the hex code for ocuk's thread background colour set as your profile location?

i've never seen it before...... :o but i just watched the first episode on 4od and it's pretty good. i'll definitely watch the rest. :)

edit: i like 4od. there's loads of free stuff to watch. :D

yeah, whenever i need to set text to the background colour it's easier to check "my location" then to loadup photoshop/fireworks and have it tell me the hex code for the colour :)

Edit: Yes, I do like the sig :D
thanks Seek :D

Actually at BB they showed an outside scene on monitors, people laughed. I guess they might have used that?
