Black Doves | Netflix

Just watched episode 3 and I think it’s improving actually. Ben Wishaw does a lot of acting with his mouth though, anyone else noticed? :p

It’s good, first ep ticked the box of watching something Christmas themed too.

I really enjoyed this. Being set in London, had The Bodyguard and Luther vibes...think I've been overdosing on such series lately.

Have to agree the straight or gay romantic flashback scenes were unnecessarily protracted, and did wonder how she went virtually unsuspected throughout.

I am really keen to see this but, for some reason (I cant explain it) I really cant stand Kiera Knightley - she is probably a very nice person IRL but there is something about her rubs me up the wrong way

I've never really been a fan, but she's quite good in this.

Not to drag things down to looks, but I seriously never saw the appeal of her in that department.

I've finished it. The London scenes were lovely. The smoking throughout were unnecessary.
The idea of all this criminal underworld and the most indiscrete car in London was a bit too much for my taste.

Thought it was ok, the 2 Irish and Welsh hit-women were hilarious though
Took us ages to tune into the welsh one. Honestly couldn't understand what she was saying half the time! I bet there were some mega arguments with the Netflix execs who presumably want it to do well in the US.

I would say they didn't need Keira Knightley for the main character and it could have been somebody more characterful.

I prefer ben whishaw out of all the characters in the show but i would say the hit women were funny and definitely saved the show from being to serious.

Would i watch a season 2? No i don't think so
