Hi there

OcUK will be doing the following sequence of events from tomorrow:

1. This Week ONLY updates around 10am tomorrow (Wednesday 25th November) and all the deals on This Week Only will not be further discounted on Black Friday / Cyber Monday, so buy in confidence. It shall be our largest This Week ONLY ever on record, most of the website shall be on it. ;)
THIS WEEK ONLY DEALS! (NOW LIVE)

Some of the This Week ONLY deals are also very aggressively prices and might run out, so don't wait too long or you might miss out. :)

2. Black Friday section at present just has ONE SSD deal active in it, around 9am Thursday around 100 more products will appear in this section with upto 50% discount and upto £1000 knocked off the price. These deals will appear in the following url around 9am Thursday:
BLACK FRIDAY DEALS

3. Cyber Monday is essentially our Black Friday deals, however we shall add a Cyber Monday Bundle on Monday at 9am to our TODAY ONLY offer, we will only have approx 35-40 of these bundles and the discount will be around £300 discount from buying the parts seperately.

4. This Week Only deals will end next Wednesday around 10am or when stock runs out, whichever comes sooner.

5. Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals end next Tuesday around 9am or when stock runs out, whichever comes sooner.

We have tried to have a large varied range of deals and we have quite high stock levels on deals, not just 1-2pc like some competitors have done on specials, we typically have 10-300pc of each deal in the hope everyone gets a chance to grab something. But do be quick as last year some products had sold 100+ within 5 minutes. The phrase snooze you lose is high!

Also if you want to ensure no disappointment then make sure payment is via debit/credit card via our secure checkout, as this is the fastest payment/order downloader processor.

If you pay via Amazon/Paypal you risk missing out on a deal because these payment processors take much longer to process the order before sending it to OcUK, this is out of our control unfortunately.

You can use Finance but again the risk of missing out is highest with finance as the order can take 2-7 days to reach OcUK due to finance checks.

I don't think I have missed anything, any questions just ask. :)

P.S. Black Friday Deals are limited to 2pc per customer, this is to stop greedy people or traders trying to buy all the stock as many deals are vastly below distribution cost. Anyone seen trying to do repeat orders for same items will get ALL their orders cancelled!!

P.S.2 Be sure to check the entire product page as many items shall also have many many FREE items bundled with them, games accessories, etc. etc. to further inprove the value for money. :)

Post your comments / replies ONLY in the Latest News section please, as this is the section we shall monitor and actively be replying in. :)

Question:
For these Black Friday deals, members that usually get Free Shipping for their orders will still get Free Shipping, rather than like some of the deals in the pass that removing the Free Shipping?

Free shipping will still be active, this will not be changed on This Week ONLY or Black Friday Deals. :)

Hoping for some good SSD deals to rival the main Black friday place. I really need to get a 500gb ready for the steam sales and would rather buy from you guys.

We have a 512GB Black Friday deal live, it is our teaser, this price won't be reducing further and it is flying out at £99.95. :)

SanDisk X300 512GB Enterprise Class SSD 2.5" SATA 6Gbps Solid State Drive @ £99.95 inc VAT

HD028SD_119659_800x800.jpg

Based on state of the art 1Ynm X3 flash technology, the SanDisk X300 SSD delivers performance with high reliability and low power. It features nCache™ 2.0, SanDisk’s next generation tiered caching technology, designed to improve SSD responsiveness for most corporate and consumer workloads.

The X300 is highly versatile and can accommodate a wide range of computing platforms. It is available in 2.5” 7mm cased, M.2 2280, and mSATA form factors with capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB*.

nCache 2.0 Technology
nCache 2.0 uses a combination of SLC and X3/TLC flash blocks to improve endurance, increase efficiency, and boost performance. By first writing all of the data to SLC blocks, the write amplification on the X3 blocks is minimized.

DataGuard Client
The X300 SSD also includes a new and robust on-the-fly error handling mechanism called DataGuard Client. It uses page-level striping with distributed parity for an added layer of data protection and can recover errors that other traditional error correction mechanisms cannot.

Low Power
The X300 utilizes a SATA DEVSLP low-power mode to minimize its power consumption during idle periods. DEVSLP enables the SSD to completely shut off its SATA PHY, thus resulting in much lower power consumption compared to SATA Slumber. This increases the amount of usable hours per battery charge, which is essential for modern mobile devices.

TCO
SanDisk SSDs can improve total cost of ownership (TCO) by reducing downtime due to hard drive failures. They also offer lower latency and greater read/write speeds over traditional HDDs6. IT departments can extend the useful life of their PC inventory by upgrading the HDDs to the X300 SSD, thus prolonging replacement cycles and maximizing asset value.

ORDER NOW

Was looking at getting 3 of the same screens if they come up on the black friday deal.

Just seen you can only have 2 per customer :( Will have to look elsewhere for them I guess.

Buy 2 from us and 1 elsewhere, if the monitor you want is on Black Friday chances are we are cheaper, so why pay 3x more when you can only pay 1x more. ;)

Thats great Gibbo.
Im going to order a full pc kit for my son for xmas, and build it up for him.
(I enjoy putting the separates all together to be honest)
So would it be best to wait till cyber Monday for the bundle deals or grab the parts on Friday?
I need i5 bundle plus monitor, case , ssd, keyboard , mouse .. Everything really!
Been waiting patiently for this weekend and dont want to miss out

Don't wait!

This Week ONLY deals should last, but no guarantees, were in peak season, even sales today are off the charts and the SALE has not started.

If you see items on THIS WEEK ONLY and the savings for those items amount to more than £20 over regular prices, you should place the order. Then order what you need from Black Friday.

The bundle on Monday will be an X99 bundle, processor, motherboard, ram, cooler, SSD etc.

Sorry, it's probably an obvious answer but its it 2 items per customer per item, or is it 2 items only for Black Friday as a whole?

It is 2 items per customer per item.

So you could buy 2 of each 100 Black Friday products, giving you 200 items in your basket and you would be fine.

We have approximately £2 million stock holding on just Black Friday deals, this gives you an idea of how big we have gone to try and ensure everyone gets a deal. This is more stock holding on just the 100 deal lines than most of our competitors hold in stock across their entire range.

We gone big, hope to have something for everyone. :)

so us a picture of what the warehouse looks like now then

Unfortunately due to its size, there is nowhere I can go to get a shot of it all, this is a photo of just the components area, cases, monitors, laptops are in another area, then of course you have the packers, conveyor belts, goodsin and goodsout areas. So this is best I can do:

I have used paypal here in the past and the order seems to be processed immediately? Is it not the case that when i checkout the stock is then alllocated to me? If not what sort of delay are we talking here, minutes or hours?

Minutes, but minutes is what it could be between getting a deal and missing out.

We are making people very aware, credit/debit card payment processor is instant, Amazon/Paypal are fairly quick but not as fast and Finance can be very slow.

Hi Gibbo,

Was just wondering as I'm in the market for a 390, and you strongly hinted at an 'epic' deal on them coming, say if one goes on sale tomorrow for the Weekly deals, will that be all the 390 deals? Or is there a chance another 390 will later go on sale on Thursday?

Basically, I don't want to buy a 390 Wednesday in the deals, if a better 390 could go on a great discount Thursday.

Thanks.

390 will be a Black Friday deal, aiming for around £204.99 Inc. VAT :D

Nice, telling a customer to buy a third monitor from someone else.
Obviously dont want our money that much.

Rules are rules, we want everyone to have a chance of getting a deal, not imposing maximum quantities per SKU means that some people come along and buy all the stock.

It was going to be one per customer, but I adviced two for those who want CF/SLI, we have already compromised. :)

We never expect to please everyone, no matter how good the deals are there will always be someone who is not impressed or has negativity, we are happy the majority will be pleased and the sales volumes will be proof of that.

i maybe able to get a better card for my budget than i thought then!

i was aiming at the 380X for £199.99!

390 all day long, got a few hundred to smash out at this price area, but we expect them to sell out within minutes as it is a blinding deal.
