I see early access on the site now for black friday but deals look absolutely crap (same for other sites too), is there going to be any better deals or is this it? Usually would be some good bargains.

@Gibbo

Do some nice deals on the 9800x3d, msi b850 tomahawk, decent 32gb 6000mhz cl30 ram, lian dynamic v2 mini and the lian li wireless tl fans + hydroshift 2 tl 360mm please :p

Yea it's always worth checking, but there are some good ones to be had. I tend to find camelcamelcamel and hotukdeals are pretty good to research past prices.

Black Friday has been one big scam for many years now!
Agreed.

When Amazon first launched it, they did some genuinely good deals on a limited basis that was enough to get people enthusiastic.

Even OcUK did a great value bundle one year.

But since then it has just become another commodity sale, where every vendors knows it's coming months in advance and prices things knowing that they'll knock 30% or whatever off in November for BF, but they're still making the exact same margin they'd always planned to.

It would be nice if OcUK could pull something together, but it also feels like the last couple of years have been particularly difficult to get manufacturers etc to help out with promo pricing.

Yeah I've been tracking some items on the river place and they were a good deal a few weeks back, now they're climbing up in price by at least £40 and rising, I'm sure ready for the BF event

Current black Friday deals are just items that where reduced before black Friday started and stuff they have now added to the black Friday list.

May get better deals nearer the 24th of November

I'd love to know the scam of something is cheaper than it normally is.
Sure you have to have your wits about you and check prices but I can't say I've ever been scammed only saved money.
Read my post just on from the one you quoted :)

Seen it many a time with items I've been 'watching', month before BF prices steadily climb, BF comes and price goes back down but is still higher than the price it originally was before prices started climbing.

BF is a total consumer con.

I am after some new wireless headphones, anyone know if these are any good?

that's just an ad, advertising that ocuk will be putting wireless headphone on for sale , it's not actually offering anything for sale right the now
but if you are looking for some right now, I got a pair of hyper max alpha wireless headest for a nice price elsewhere recently , they sound good, and the wifi dongle connection isn't janky at all. It just works
