Um when I ordered my 730 there were 10+ in stock and just recieved this from my enquiry ticket re; Intel SSD

"Im afraid that the 2nd delivery we were getting hasnt materialised as our supplier has let us down and as a result we wont be restocking the drives. The only option is to amend or cancel the order sir. "

So you didn't have them in stock or what?


Intel gave us a set amount to sell, they sold so quick the website failed to keep up and in the 15 minutes it took to update about 50 orders too many came in as it was so popular.

We've asked Intel if they can help but so far no luck.
 
My order still printed in the warehouse(I have bought it on Thursday). Is it normal?

The warehouse are massively behind at the moment, so we are about a whole day behind at present. They worked all over the weekend to try and clear it, but the sales did not drop off at all at the weekend or today, so lots to do.

But I would call sales just to make sure there is no payment or out of stock issue. :)
 
Just got this email as well...noooooooooooooooo.

Ignore for now, myself and my SSD purchaser are begging Intel to sort some more for us. Its gone right to HQ level so will take a few days.

Worse case: Order cancelled and refund given along with some game codes.
Best case: Intel sort us out and you get the SSD.

Will take a few days as essentially were asking Intel for like £20,000........
 
Gibbo just so you know this isn't the script coming via the sales team (who are hearing from the Group Manager) so massive mixed messages all around!

Going to defer to you as you tell it how it is without the corporate newspeak....

Happy to go in at a higher price if that's necessary

Sales just follow standard protocol, which is item out of stock, no orders on system as cannot get, hence the email.

In the background I am working with Intel to try and make something happen.
 
Tried to order the Samsung 32D850D monitor several times this morning, but it kept returning to the previous page when I pressed the step 5 button.

I couldn't order any sooner than this morning as the funds were tied up elsewhere, but the attempts to purchased were at 7.45 onwards, so there was plenty of time left.

Not happy that ive missed out on the deal through no fault of my own.

There is actually no chance of repeating the deal because so far Intel have not confirmed they will fund these drives, as such we are honouring the drives to those who ordered at absolutely huge losses, but we feel keeping our customers happy is more important. :)

got a quick question. I received my EVGA GTX 970 last night but couldn't see anything in there with regards to the free games.

this this sent via e mail at all or should it be in the box?
