Without mentioning any competitors did anyone get any good deals?

I couldn't find any this year and prices of a couple of things I had my eye on actually went up on Friday on the pretence of a discount.

Although last year I did manage to buy a 4k TV for half price due to a pricing error by the retailer!

A few things I had my eye on went up in price in the run up to black friday week, only for them to drop back down to a value only slightly lower than their normal running price. All to make it look like a larger saving.

That being said, I got 2 new lights for the hallways in the house at 20% off in a shop, and they had been at the same price for months.
